Gas Separators

Designed to remove oil, gas condensate, lubricating oil, liquid droplets, fine aerosols, moisture and mechanical impurities from produced, processed or transported natural gas, associated gas, sales gas and technical gas. The gas filter-separator also provides fine removal of mechanical impurities.

A gas separator is a vertical cylindrical vessel whose dimensions depend on the gas flow rate.

The gas-liquid mixture enters through an inlet nozzle located in the middle section of the vessel. The incoming flow moves along the separator wall, where centrifugal force separates solid and liquid inclusions from the gas-liquid mixture.

Separated inclusions are captured in a dedicated pocket and settle in the sump. The cleaned gas stream is directed to a demister pad and/or coalescer for final purification. After passing through the pack, the gas exits through the separator outlet nozzle.
