DGS control panels are generally designed individually for each compressor type. Compressors are often standardised and fitted with interchangeable flow-path sections designed for different pressure ratios. In such cases, identical panel types with different instrument ranges may be used.

The technical specifications of a DGS control panel are selected according to the operating parameters of the DGS assembly and the customer’s requirements. Where necessary, or where required by the equipment specification, the panel can be additionally equipped with a gas heater, a pre-filtration/gas-separation system for both seal gas and separation gas, and other equipment and systems.

DGS Control Panels with Nitrogen Generation for Т83/Т93FR Separation Seals

Compared with a standard panel, this design includes an additional instrument-air preparation system and a system for generating nitrogen from compressed air. A key feature is the use of advanced membrane technology to separate compressed air and produce nitrogen.

The panel integrates the nitrogen preparation and generation system on a common skid with the seal-gas supply system and the DGS condition-monitoring system. This eliminates additional interconnecting piping between the DGS system and the nitrogen-generation system and reduces the system footprint and cost.
